About this Project
Frenchy Bar et Brasserie is an iconic project of the Hilton Hotel in the heart of Toronto, inspired by French Parisian styles that maximize hospitality experience. Hilton Hotel's lobby bar and lounge focused on offering a luxurious atmosphere by carefully considering materials and fabric patterns with flowery and colorful designs. Aiden was involved in this project as a furniture designer and led a small design team, reviewing the general frame designs from junior designers.
Design Procss
Collecting and organizing the all information that requires from the client such as reference images, electric hardware specifications, and the site measurements.
2. Explore the design concept and continue developing and optimizing the design through communicating with the client, project manager, engineer and assembler.
3. Generating the production drawing to give a clear direction to an assemblers and minimize the potential risks.
4. Constantly visiting the manufacturing line for better quality of a product. Keep providing a detail instruction until finishing process. The images show how Aiden accelerated teamwork between the metal shop and woodshop to prevent the error caused a tolerance.
5. Take a responsibility for the final quality and quantity before delivery to the site.
